Audrey Le Veve

Being born on February 14th, I have always given the search for a soul mate an essential place. It is therefore not surprising that I was naturally attracted to the study of reproductive systems. My interest in genomics and population genetics is much less romantic. But not everything can be explained. I did my thesis in Lille (France). I worked for three years on the genomic impacts of the sporophytic incompatibility system in different Arabidopsis species.

In the laboratory, I am interested in the genetic determinants of the reproductive fitness of the male function in hermaphroditic plants A. arenosa and C. grandiflora? What is the impact of these determinants on female function ? How do these male and female determinants interact ?

In everyday life, I always try to privilege communication and positive attitudes.

Outside of research, I am interested in theater, poetry and cooking.
